  Ubuntu 12.04 server amd64

  nscd                2.15-0ubuntu10
  libnss-ldapd   0.8.4
  libpam-ldapd 0.8.4
  ng-utils          0.7-1

  nscd fails to return netgroup lists when netgroups are on ldap.

  nscd.conf is default

  passwd:         compat
  passwd_compat: ldap
  group:          compat
  shadow:         compat

  hosts:          files dns
  networks:       files

  protocols:      db files
  services:       db files
  ethers:         db files
  rpc:            db files

  netgroup:       ldap
  _____nsswitch.conf_____

  
  With nscd running the command "netgroup -u admins" returns nothing and exits with a 0.

  With nscd stopped the command "netgroup -u admins" returns the 6 users
  in the netgroup as expected.

  
  Workaround:
   Disable netgroup caching in /etc/nscd.conf

       enable-cache      netgroup     no
