Title:
  grub-mount hangs on every invocation

Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  See bug 988583

  Extra info:

  2 disks,
  /dev/sda1 /boot jfs
  /dev/sda2 exteded
  /dev/sda5 lvm2 vg00

  /dev/sdb1 lvm2 vg00

  vg00: /, /usr, /var, /var/log, /home, /tmp (all jfs) + swap

All created on a fresh 12.04 install.

Strangely enough does gparted show sdb1 to have a label "boot" as
well, allthough this _can_ be a leftover of a previous (8.04) install.

Second: lsof shows grub-mount to have open /dev/sdb1 only...

Building upstream grub and replacing grub-mount does not help.
