Title:
missing home directory when fsck run

Status in “mountall” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I have /dev/sdb1 mounted as my home directory. After every 38 boots
when I login it feels like my home directory contents are gone. This
creates lot of confusion and panic. Actually system does fsck on
/dev/sdb1 and my real home does not get mounted when I login. I expect
one notification to wait till fsck finish instead of showing empty
  home directory.
