Title:
Synaptic steals focus when minimized or when behind other windows

Status in The synaptic package manager:

Status in “synaptic” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid
Status in “synaptic” package in Debian:
  Unknown

Bug description:
If I'm running some other app when I decide to run the updates, I will
of course leave it running behind my working window, however when the
first information about progress comes up, it jumps into focus and
  disrufts what I'm doing.

  * It does not require any input
  * It's doing exactly what it should be (not an error report)

  So, it shouldn't take focus.
