  Can't properly identify architecture

Status in “alien” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When generating a DEB package (couldn't try other types yet), the
  target architecture of generated package is always "all"; alien can't
  identify architecture neither by original file name , nor by package
  metadata.
