Title:
  Installer minimizes during netbook install

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

This occured for me during a netbook install of 10.04 UNE from a Live
USB session. After completing step 7 of 7 of the install dialog,
instead of jumping to the partitioner dialog and slideshow, the
installer is minimized, showing the UNE desktop. One has to click the
installer icon in the upper left to maximize it again. The reason
this is an issue, is that new users to Ubuntu (like my sister...who
has a PhD) assume the install is done and reboot...in the middle of
the installation :/. This occured for her on an HP 1030NR and me on a
  Dell Mini 9.
