[Bug 969710] Re: Installer crashed on new install

I identify the problem to be because of ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu.
Here is a simple workaround :
- boot the Live CD and select "Try Ubuntu"
- open a terminal and launch "sudo apt-get uninstall ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu" in it
- close the terminal
- run the installer ('Install Ubuntu").
This way no slideshow is displayed during the installation process, but ubiquity won't crash :)
Installation successful !
