[Bug 996855] [NEW] Failure to install. Failure occured after trying to access swap file

I have tried to install Ubuntu 12.04 LTS to hard drive several times.
First to external hard drive, but the system kept turning USB devices
off during installation.  So i put the hard drive into my hard drive bay
on my lap top to install.  There was an error for failure to install at
the beginning of the process and then it seemed like it was alright.
Then it failed when it was trying to access the swap file.
