Have recently repeated install using the same iso but on a different
disk-no errors. Therefore attributing this to badly burned iso.

Title:
Ubuntu installer crashed but appears to have installed

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
the ubuntu 12.04 lts installer has crashed on me whilst installing.
However upon reboot it appears that it actually installed correctly .
Is there a way to check if the installation has been completed
successfully (still getting no errors after 2 hours usage). Only
glitch i noticed is when launching chrome the windows opens with black
lines for a split second before going full screen.
