[Bug 995229] [NEW] grub-installer refuses installation to media that previously held a hybrid image

Public bug reported:

While installing Precise to a USB media that previously held an
isohybrid image, installation fails with error message:

/usr/sbin/grub-setup: error: hd2 appears to contain a iso9660 filesystem
which isn't known to reserve space for DOS-style boot.  Installing GRUB
there could result in FILESYSTEM DESTRUCTION if valuable data is
overwritten by grub-setup (--skip-fs-probe disables this check, use at
your own risk).

The error I got is exactly as reported on:
