  Can't finish installation of ttf-mscorefonts-installer

Status in “update-notifier” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I installed ubuntu-restricted-extras. When installing the mscorefonts
  a window of the update notifier pops up and tells me:

  ---
  The following packages requested additional data downloads after package installation, but the data could not be downloaded or could not be processed.

  ttf-mscorefonts-installer

  The download will be attempted again later, or you can try the download again now.  Running this command requires an active Internet connection.
  ---

  I can click on "Diese Aktion jetzt ausführen" which means something
  like "run this action" it opens a terminal, ask me for my password and
  then nothing happens. Here is what happens in terminal when I
  reproduce the problem:

  dos at dos-ThinkPad-X200s:~$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall ttf-mscorefonts-installer
  Paketlisten werden gelesen... Fertig
  Abhängigkeitsbaum wird aufgebaut       
  Statusinformationen werden eingelesen... Fertig
  0 aktualisiert, 0 neu installiert, 1 erneut installiert, 0 zu entfernen und 0 nicht aktualisiert.
  Es müssen noch 0 B von 27,4 kB an Archiven heruntergeladen werden.
  Nach dieser Operation werden 0 B Plattenplatz zusätzlich benutzt.
  Vorkonfiguration der Pakete ...
  (Lese Datenbank ... 172548 Dateien und Verzeichnisse sind derzeit installiert.)
  Vorbereitung zum Ersetzen von ttf-mscorefonts-installer 3.4ubuntu3 (durch .../ttf-mscorefonts-installer_3.4ubuntu3_all.deb) ...
  mscorefonts-eula license has already been accepted
  Ersatz für ttf-mscorefonts-installer wird entpackt ...
  Trigger für fontconfig werden verarbeitet ...
  Trigger für update-notifier-common werden verarbeitet ...
  ttf-mscorefonts-installer: downloading http://downloads.sourceforge.net/corefonts/andale32.exe
  ttf-mscorefonts-installer: downloading http://downloads.sourceforge.net/corefonts/arial32.exe
  ttf-mscorefonts-installer (3.4ubuntu3) wird eingerichtet ...

  But still the messages pops up and the MS fonts are not installed.
