Please consider adding the lo-menubar by default, if only for
consistency. In Ubuntu LO is probably one of the two most important
default applications shipped with Ubuntu. Yet it is looks so out of
place with the rest of the system, it really brings down the look of
Ubuntu as a professional OS to be used by those switching from Mac OSX
and Windows. Won't this also impact upon the future use of the HUD for
LO.
If the lo-menubar is ready to go why is it not installed by default, if
there is a technical issue could someone elaborate and maybe a fix can
be found to close this gaping whole in the inconsistency of the Ubuntu
desktop.

Title:
lo-menubar should be pulled in by ubuntu-desktop to better integrate
LibreOffice with Unity
Status in “ubuntu-meta” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
As per the summary really. One gripe of Unity is lack of LibreOffice
integration with Unity's global menu bar.. This is a simple fix as
the package which fixes it has already been in the Ubuntu package
repository for some time.
