Public bug reported:
I am using Unity 5.8 and Gnome 3.4. I have crossover installed. When I log into Gnome Shell, i can see Crossover as a separate application entry in the menu list. I also get a separate windows application list down below, just as I would get in Gnome 2 drop down menus.
However, the same menu structure is not available in Unity. It is difficult to find applications by mouse. I have to type in the name of the application or the menu to get it.
I think for ease of use, Unity should follow the same menu structure as Gnome 3. I am attaching a screenshot of Gnome 3.4 with these available menus
** Affects: dash (Ubuntu)
