The page should show a link to the release notes, however this may not
display if you do no have internet access. Looking at your screenshot I
don't see your wireless connected or a wired network connection. Did
you have one available?

Title:
No descriptive text on welcome/choose language stage

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
On PowerPC, the first screen of ubiquity usually doesn't have any
descriptive text. Occasionally I get "You may wish to read the
release notes". I'm assuming there should be something else written
in the blank space? I'll attach a screenshot.
