OK, it's not just an artwork thing. Reducing the size of that partition
with the Lubuntu image is not possible. I'll change this to critical on
the GA tracker.

  I'm testing the Lubuntu i386 20120328 image and performing the manual
  partitioning install I'm not allowed to reduce the size of a 69GB
  partition. I don't recall ever seeing that before.
