Title:
pressing keyboard backlight hotkey crashes keyboard input on Dell XPS

Status in “udev” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
I have a Dell XPS M1330. On this computer, the Fn+right arrow key
combination should change the keyboard backlight. Pressing the key
combination, however, leads to complete loss of keyboard input to any
program. Keyboard input can only be restored by rebooting my computer.
