COULD NOT INSTALL THE UPGRADES

The upgrade has been aborted. Your system could be in an unstable state.
A recovery will run now (dpkg --configure -a). Please report this bug
using the command 'ubuntu-bug update-manager' in a terminal and include
the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the bug report. E: Sub-process
/usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1).

This happens every time I try to UPDATE!

Bug description:
  Ruby 1.8 gives warnings that she may be unstable or not work at all.
  Before Maverik, Oneerik, and Natty finished, I get the same messages.
  I crashed yesterday when rebooting! My win 7 is fine. It is on another
  HD, but this is growing tiresome! Am I not able to update BT ever?

  I still have received nothing from you in regards to this issue.
