Title:
Upgrade of packages does no longer work
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Today I wanted to upgrade the packages in my Precise installation. The packages were downloaded but then nothing else happened. I waited for a long time but just my CPU utilization went up.
I tried it as well in the terminal with an "sudo apt-get upgrade" but with the same result. The same with Synaptics which did no longer react and which I had to terminate.
I already tried "sudo dpkg --configure -a" and "sudo dpkg-reconfigure
-a" but with no result. I can update several packages with Synaptics
but when I try to update all packages I get the result which I
described above.
