  machine: HP 6710B (laptop)
  4 gig memory
  ubuntu 12.04 beta 2, with latest updates till this morning.
  
  use case:
- - 
- when typing a name in the search field from the application menu some texts are show only half. Every part of the os is very fast, so this is not due to bad performance.
+ - open application menu
+ - type the name your looking for
  
- This bug is not blocking or anything, just not a great look/feel.
+ Expected behavior:
+ while typing, the suggestions are fully shown below the textfield. 
  
- screenshots included to show the expected en unexpected behavior.
+ Current behavior
+ While typing a name in the search field sometimes the suggestions are shown in half. (See both screenshots).
