Apologies in advance to Colin Watson but I subscribed him in hopes of
saving him time when Beta 2 iso-testing begins next week.
Somewhat off topic but I think reverting to non-pae for Precise on these
two DE's gives us just the balance we need for Precise ...............
great decision!
You do great work and you're a pleasure to work with!

Title:
Lubuntu and Xubuntu alternate images fail to find kernel modules
Status in “debian-installer” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Since Xubuntu and Lubuntu have reverted to the non-pae kernel both of
their respective alternate installers display the error "No kernel
modules found". I've tested Lubuntu 20120319 and 20120320 along with
Xubuntu 20120321, all of which produce that error. But I also just
tried Ubuntu 20120321 and it proceeds fine.
Please see bug 955009 and bug 958866 for reference. I have checked all
discs for errors prior to testing.
