Title:
guided partitioner allows a partition size smaller than minimum
  requirement

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Precise Desktop 20120320

  TEST CASE:
  1. On a system with an existing installation, start Ubiquity
  2. Language: select non-english
  3. Prepare: Check 'Download while installing'
  4. Partman: Select 'Install alongside'
  5. In the guided partitioner, move the slider maximunm to the right to allocate the minimum size to the new partition. In my case it allowed to slide down to 2.7GB
  6. Proceed with installation

  RESULT
The installation fails because the space allocated for the new partition is too small and doesn't meet the minimum requirement of 4.5GB
