Bug description:
  After a fresh install of Oneiric, following this test case:
  http://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/Install/DesktopFree

  with this iso from 20110922: oneiric-desktop-amd64.iso

  when running the update-manager following instructions, it seems to
  work but reports the following on the console:
