I can't reproduce this at the moment. Using yesterday's daily build of
the Xubuntu desktop i386 image, I did the following:

 * Pressed some key or other at the keyboard/accessibility icon splash to get to the CD boot menu proper
 * Selected Deutsch (German) at the language prompt
 * Selected "Xubuntu installieren" ("Install Xubuntu")
 * Pressed Enter

This booted directly into the installer, not into a live session.

If these are not the correct steps to take to reproduce this bug, please
provide similarly detailed instructions.

Title:
  xubuntu precise pangolin alpha2 problems

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  While doing the alpha2 test of xubuntu precise pangolin if you try to
  choose the direct install from the boot menu, not trying the live
  session, just trying to install, it will send you to the live session
  anyway, this happens if you choose any language on the boot prompt.
