With an italian installation, If I try to deselect English, it removes
the related packages finishing in the state shown in screenshot-22 and
screenshot-23, chinese is not grey and it's not installed.

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Testing Precise ISO build 20120319.

  Steps:
  1) Boot it from a usb/cd live and click on Try Ubuntu with English language.
  2) Click on Install icon on the desktop, connected or not to the net (it's the same)
  3) After reboot, the language selector shows as screenshot-19 and screenshot-20 (regional format)

  English variants and Chinese are grey in the list, the only installed
  language (checked in install/remove languages...) is English.
