(Similar observations as feedback from jeroen Tiel (js-t) in previous bug report)
While using Update Manager, updates still showing as visible but not checked and "greyed out" like they're disabled. Crash reported, and upon relaunching Update Manager it appears all updates completed properly.
(I'd been getting a lot of "partial upgrade warnings" and "can't get lock" like Aptitude, Synaptic has a lock but I'm not aware of any other package management systems running.)
