I'm afraid that without log files we cannot fix whatever caused the
installation to crash. For future reference, please run `sudo ubuntu-
bug ubiquity` in a terminal window if the installation crashes. This
will automatically collect the needed information and attach it to a new
bug report.
It is not technically possible for the Ubuntu installer to prevent you
from accessing the BIOS setup. Do pay close attention to the keyboard
shortcuts it presents when you first turn on the computer. BIOS setup is
usually F1, escape, or F12.
If you are unable to boot Windows, please follow the instructions found here:

Title:
I can not install Ubuntu
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
I tried to install Ubuntu 11.04 together with Windows XP. I have 3 differents hard disk in the PC, but Ubuntu gave me only the possibility to install it in the same disk where is actually installed Windows XP. When was asked I selected a free space of 10GB in the same disk to make the installation. At the beginning the process was ok, but near the end of the process suddenly appears a crash error and the installation was interrupted, the system was hanged-up. So I had to reboot the PC and for this reason i can not add any log file, information of the syslog and partman has been lost.
It seems the installation was made partially and now I can not start Windows, also can not access to BIOS, only let me start Ubuntu by means of the CD.
I would appreciate any help in order to recover the old system.
Thanks in advance.
