Title:
Gparted: no label editing before writing

Status in Gnome Partition Editor:
  Unknown
Status in “gparted” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gparted

Sorry for the unclear title, I didn't know how to summarize the issue.

I'm using gparted 0.3.8 in Intrepid Live CD.

When you try to assign a label everything works fine, and 'Set
Partition Label "WHATYOUWANT" to /dev/sda1' is shown in the list of
pending operations. However, if you try to edit it again before
applying changes made, you'll have another 'Set Partition Label...' in
  the list of pending operations.

IMHO there should be only one entry with the new label.
