Title:
Installation in progress. Files were being copied. The system crashed
suddenly and froze.
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I was trying to install in the existing disk space of Suse Linux. The
attempt was to over write the / (root) but make use of /home file
system. "Install" started and files were being copied when the system
crashed.
Since the system froze, files /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman are
NOT available from the running installer. The system had to be
rebooted off Live CD.
