Title:
pressing "+" on updatable packages clears "automatically installed"
mark
Status in “aptitude” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: aptitude
In natty's aptitude 0.6.3-3.2ubuntu1, if there are available updates
in the package list, I can highlight them and press "+" to update the
package(s). However, this clears all "A" marks ("automatically
installed") and I have to re-mark them manually each using "M".
Maverick's aptitude 0.6.3-2ubuntu4 behaves as expected: Scheduling one
or more package(s) for updating using "+" doesn't touch the "M" mark.
