Title:
Improve Update Manager's /boot space requirement calculation
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: update-manager
If you have a lot of old kernel images installed (as can happen if
you've done a few distro upgrades and/or followed unstable), then
current gusty DistUpgradeControler calculates that you need a
ridiculous amount of free space in /boot. It might be prudent to offer
the option to users of removing older unused kernels if there is
insufficient space in /boot.
