[Bug 956121] [NEW] cannot complete reinstallation due to a bug

my laptop seemed like it crashed, tried to install and upgrade from
10.10 to 11. Ubuntu and during the process there was a bug report in the
hard drive. could not complete installation and upgrade.. and do not
have visual on my screen - have to be connected to a tv monitor to view.
