Public bug reported:

I boot from CD of 11.10 64-bit on HP Pavilion notebook (new. It gets to initial screen but after I ask to run from CD, blinking cursor appears for a while and then black screen and nothing. I can run10.04 32 bit off live CD OK, but it doesn't recognize the Realtek wireless chip in the Pavilion. What now?
Computer uses AMD quad 64-bit processor and AMD display chips.

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)

         Status: New
