Hhmm, I run into trouble... I start with a clean 10.04 server. when I
run do-release-upgrade -d I get the missing candidate warnings so I
cancel... I then run the commands you provided:
sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/prerequists-sources.list
sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_precise-updates_main_binary-amd64_Packages
I then run do-release-upgrade -d again but I still get the missing
candidates warnings...
