Title:
  ubuntu 10.04 installer 'Ignore' button

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: base-installer

During install of 10.04 under wubi, an 'Ignore' button is displayed
rom time to time at the bottom-right corner. In many instances, the
user has no pertinent information ("running dpkg") about what will be
ignored. Even when there is a meaningful information ("Downloading
language packages, 0.04 remains"), the effect of the 'Ignore' button
is not clear (what will happen if pressed?)

The install should proceed without solliciting the user needlessly.

The Ignore button is just confusing and should be removed altogether.

A screenshot (in French) is available.
