Public bug reported:

This isn't the only time I encountered this bug. I have Debian installed
on separate partition. To be sure its config files don't interfere with
installation I whiped clean partition /home. Installation hanged up at
user creation screen. The same problem persisted no matter how many
times I tried to install Xubuntu. Now when I try to install it, it hangs
up even earlier, but that might be caused by Debian's files at /home
partition.

Distro:
Description:	Ubuntu precise (development branch)
Release:	12.04

Plus, when I check which process is using the most of CPU power,
Ubiquity keeps growing in size.

LiveMediaBuild: Xubuntu 12.04 "Precise Pangolin" - Beta amd64 (20120228)
ProcEnviron:
 TERM=xterm
 PATH=(custom, no user)
 LANG=en_US.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: ubiquity
