I just applied all system updates and the keyboard and trackpad work,
somewhat. Seems as if the keyboard is overly sensitive, the cursor jumps
around the screen, hard to explain

  Affected computer - Macbook Pro, intel, 2 gb ram, 17 in screen.
  Installed Ubuntu precise-desktop-i386.iso 20120309, resized, along side a working copy of Lubuntu.
  Keyboard and trackpad unresponsive, won't accept any keystrokes, trackpad doesn't work.

  Attached external keyboard and mouse, the external keyboard and mouse
  works.
