  Ubuntu 10.04.1 installation failed

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  I'am was trying install ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386 from CD
  At the beginning of the installation window appears: 
  "Installition failed
  The installer encountered an unrecoverable error. A desktop session will now be run so that you may investigate the problem or try installing again"
  then it was only possible to restart the computer.
  I can't install ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386, the version ubuntu-10.04.1-alternate-i386 no such problems.
  My hardware:
  CPU&GPU: Intel Core I3 530
  I try to install ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386 on a virtual machine, the problem repeated.
