I'm afraid you don't provide enough information for us to make anything
useful out of this bug report. Please provide log files of the failure
(/var/log/apt/*) and/or a paste of the failed updates. Also dpkg does
not have a "installArchives()" function. I guess it's update-manager...
so reassigning there and marking as incomplete. Feel free to move it
back to new when you have provided more information.
