I am not getting the accessibility connection with this? Does this
relate to general usability rather than any specific a11y issue?

Title:
Accesibility: Make update list sortable and add option to
select/deselect all like in other update managers or synaptic

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Now that synaptic is gone from ubuntu, we need a more accessible way
to manage updates. Thus some important synaptic features need to be
  brought back.

  A) Sorting
Sorting was a very important accessibility feature in synaptic and is also available in almost every other major OS ranging from mint update, Mac Os updater to Windows Update, etc.

  B) select/deselect ALL (which also was a feature of synaptic)

In contrast ubuntu update manager is the least accessible and trying
to manage updates with it can cause RSI (Repetitive strain injury).
