[Bug 945712] [NEW] Update Manager takes a long time to update when the list is not empty

Public bug reported:

In Precise, if you check for updates from Update Manager when the list
already has updates to install, after searching, Update Manager stalls
for several seconds for each of the items already listed, removing one
after every 5 seconds or so, from the top to the bottom, till the list
is empty. Only then, it shows us the updated list.

Note: this only happens if the updates description box is shown, so it
looks like the problem is that update manager loads the description
first and only then removes the item from the list.

** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
