Hello Brian
Yes the installed system was Oneiric, but it is a fully updated Precise.
So I think that that signature need to be corrected because at the first launch of dist upgrade, it is no more Oneiric but Precise.

  Hello
  TESTCASE:
  - try to write an ubuntu image to a usb key with persistence enabled in a fully updated Precise
  - after inserting password to write the bootloader on the key, the update notifier suggest to try to upgrade

  EXPECTED:
  - it don't start.
