Title:
update-manager crashed with SIGSEGV in
pkgCache::VerIterator::TranslatedDescription()
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
This seems like a regression. It happened during my daily update
cycle - Update Manager was waiting for me when I sat down to work, I
clicked Check to get the latest updates, everything downloaded, the
list of updates in the main window was cleared, one item at a time,
then with (IIRC) two items left, Update Manager crashed. I reported
this before, and it was fixed, but this morning it happened for the
first time in about a week.
