Title:
FR: apt-cache search should show version

Status in “apt” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: apport

It would be nice if there were a way to allow apt-cache to query the
version of all the software that it returns in search, such as with
  another flag like --software-version
