Title:
'Take a photo' preview pane not showing live preview

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed
Status in “ubiquity” source package in Precise:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
The 'Take a photo' preview pane appears as empty to begin with.
Clicking 'Take photo' will take a photo succesfully, so the webcam
hardware is not dysfunctional. It then shows the photo below the
preview pane (where it is supposed to go) and in the preview pane
itself. There is never any live preview.
