I don't think this bug should result in a failed testcase (if indeed it
is a bug at all).  I agree with you that it is a waste of drive space to
have two swap partitions created, but then, you can always go the manual
route if you don't want this.  What do other architectures do or is this
PowerPC specific?

Bug description:
  The PowerPC Alternate image from 2012-03-01
  (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily/current/) creates duplicate
  swap and apple boot partitions when Guided-Resize is chosen in the
  partitioning scheme.  I would expect it to use the existing swap and
  Apple Boot partitions.
