[Bug 1019490] [NEW] Periodic filesystem check at boot time disabled

Public bug reported:

I've noticed recently for several fresh Xubuntu 12.04 installations
(alternate and desktop), that on all partitions formated by the
installer the filesystem check at boot time is disabled. E.g.

sudo tune2fs -l /dev/sda6 | grep -iE " mount count|check "
Maximum mount count: -1
Check interval: 0 (<none>)

That would mean the filesystem will never be checked on a regular basis,
right?

** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
