Title:
  do-release-upgrade won't work on ipv6 only hosts

Status in “update-manager-core” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
do-release-upgrade on ipv6 only connected hosts never shows a new
  version available.

Dist-upgrading by editting /etc/apt/sources.list is not recommend so i
can't upgrade my lucid host to the latest lts-release.

The problem is that changelogs.ubuntu.com has no AAAA record and is
  only available on ipv4.
