You would need the sys_admin capability on the container for it to work.
This is what your hosting provider could execute to enable that
capability:
vzctl set 194 --capability sys_admin:on --save

Title:
fusermount of fuse-utils 2.7.2-1ubuntu2.1 (hardy) fails to unmount
sshfs
Status in “fuse” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: fuse-utils
Hi!
This seems to be a regression. On Jan 30, using fuse-utils
2.7.2-1ubuntu2, everything works fine, I mount a remote system using
sshfs and unmounting via fusermount -u mountpoint
On Jan 30 I installed the upgrade of fuseutils and libfuse2 to version
2.7.2-1ubuntu2.1
Since then, fusermount -u mountpoint fails with this error message:
"fusermount: failed to clone namespace: Operation not permitted"
I was not able to find this phrase anywhere in the net using google.
Downgrade to 2.7.2-1ubuntu2 fixes the problem.
I hope that this is not somehow connected to the fact, that my
affected machine is a OpenVZ vserver (Strato Hosting in Germany). With
this technique, by server does not have kernel and modules in the
visible file system, so perhaps it's a mismatch between fuse-module
and fuse-utils?
