This was fixed by the switch to resolvconf (or at least should have).

** Changed in: isc-dhcp (Ubuntu)

Title:
dual IPv4/IPv6 DHCP client gets DNS server wrong/missing

Status in “isc-dhcp” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
current resolv.conf update code assumes that only the DNS server from the lastest DHCP answer is to be used.
That assumption is wrong in a dual IPv4/IPv6 DHCP setup. The IPv4 DNS server from the IPv4 DHCP answer and the IPv6 server from the IPv6 answer should both be kept.
