Title:
  gvim parses login string incorrectly

Status in “vim” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: vim

ok first off I would like to say my ISP is kinda stupid

  gvim ftp://daniel.hill@xnet.co.nz@homepages.xnet.co.nz/index.html

is the required string to open index.html with gvim on my ftp host

it should login to ftp://homepages.xnet.co.nz with user name
  "daniel.hill at xnet.co.nz"

but instead logs in to xnet.co.nz at homepages.xnet.co.nz (error unknown
  host) with user "daniel.hill"
